Diamond Silicone Silk Matt

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Water-based, acrylic resin-based and silicone added, special matt appearance decorative interior wall paint for top coat.

PROPERTIES

It has high cleanable and stain resistance properties. It has a high hiding power and yellowing resistance. It provides an excellent adhesion to the recommended surfaces. It does not crack, blister and exfoliate. It is very easy to apply and spreads very well. It is odourless and enviromentally friendly.

APPLICATION

It can be easily applied to any plasters, exposed and gas concretes, precast concrete panels, gypsum boards, painted walls and ceilings, mdf boards, osb boards and paintable wallpapers, after the recommended background formation and priming process. All surfaces should be dry, clean and free from dust. Old and swelled painted surfaces should be cleaned by scraping. Uneven and loose surfaces should be filled with “Düfa Acrylic Interior Putty”, as needed, for surface smoothing. It is recommended to use one coat of “Ultra Acrylic Transparent Primer ”or“ Ultra Acrylic 1/7 Concentrated Primer” on the puttied, satin plastered and lime-based surfaces to reduce the top coat paint consumption and increase the adhesion of the paint to the surface, following the smoothing process. Surfaces to which a synthetic paint is applied should be sanded and all dust thereon should be cleaned. It is recommended to use one coat of “Ultra Acrylic Cover Primer” as a conversion primer when changing from a synthetic painted surface into a water based surface and in the color changes.

“DIAMOND SILICONE SILK MATT” is applied to the surfaces subjected to a priming process in 2 coats by diluting with maximum 10-15% water by  a roller or brush. The waiting time between the coats is 4-5 hours (may vary depending on the ambient temperature). Application temperature should be between 5˚C and 35˚C.

DRYING TIME

Touch dry: 30–40 minutes Waiting time between coats: 4–5 hours. Hard dry: 24 hours.(23°C ve 50% Moisture)

CONSUMPTION

An area of 13–16 m² lt is painted in one coat depending on the absorptivity and type of surface. A field sample study should be done for the exact consumption
