Diamond Silicone Int&Ext Cover Primer

PRDUCT DESCRIPTION

Water based, acrylic emulsion based and silicon added interior & exterior cover primer with filling.

PROPERTIES

The product allows buildings to breathe by releasing humidity thanks to high levels of water vapor permeability. It has high adhesion capability. It creates a strong surface and thus improves adhesion of the paint to be applied on it. The filling structure enhances covering properties of the top coat paint and reduces consumption.

APPLICATION

It can be easily applied on concrete, plaster, rough rendering, exposed concrete, gas concrete, briquette, drag mosaic and betopan surfaces. The application surfaces should be dry, clean and dust free. Surfaces previously painted and blistered should be cleaned by scraping. Wait for minimum 4 weeks before applying on newly plastered surfaces. If necessary, “Düfa Acrylic Exterior Wall Putty” should be used for puttying damaged and loosened surfaces and surfaces with micro cracks. Applying a single coat of product after the smoothing works is suggested for reducing the paint consumption on the top coat paint, improving paint adhesion on surface and for color changes. Application surfaces should be protected from rain and freeze for avoiding any drying process problems and the product should not be applied on very windy weather conditions and surfaces exposed to direct sunlight. If the product is to be applied at temperatures above 35 °C and between 12:00 and 16:00 p.m, building surfaces that are not exposed to sunlight should be preferred.

“Diamond Silicone Int&Ext Cover Primer” can be applied with a roller brush or brush in one single coat by diluting with maximum 10 % water. The application temperature should be between 5˚ C and 35˚ C.

DRYING TIME

Before top coat paint: 6 to 8 hours (23 °C and 50 % humidity)

CONSUMPTION

Depending on absorbing capacity and type of the surface, an area of 12-16 m²/lt is painted on single layer. Field sample work should be carried out for precise consumption.

STORAGE

It should be kept in its closed package, in a dry and cool place that is not directly exposed to sunlight and between 5°-35° C and should be protected from frost
