Elasteks Elastic Exterior Paint

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

It is Acrylic-Based, elastic-featured exterior paint.

PROPERTIES

Thanks to containing special acrylic polymer, it features bridging hair cracks. By having low glass transition temperature, it maintains its durability and flexibility for many years under any climatic condition. It also has high water vapor permeability and low moisture holding features. Special pigments resistant to color fading, are used on sunexposed surfaces. It is dirt-resistant, thus, it maintains the paint just like on its first day for many years. Its application is so easy, it is environment-friendly topcoat paint that is not harmful to human health.

APPLICATION

It is used on all kinds of mineral surfaces of old/new concrete, gas concrete, briquette, brick, plaster etc. The surfaces where it will be applied must be dry and clean. The most important factor needed to be paid attention during Elastic Paint processes is that insulation of the surface must be done very well. Otherwise, it will be led to puffing and surging problems of the paint on the surfaces where water insulation has not been done well. To repair hair cracks on the surface or smooth the surface, “Düfa Acrylic Exterior Putty” must be used. Following the smoothing process, “Düfa Elasteks Elastic Exterior Paint” thinned by 20% must be used as ground coat in order to decreasewastage of topcoat paint and make the paint adhere to the surface more. Following the ground coating process, “Düfa Elasteks Elastic Topcoat Exterior Flat Paint” must be applied as two coats thinning by max. 10% with water. It must be waited for 12 hours before applying each coats.

DRYING TIME

1 to 3 hours to touch, overall drying takes 24 hours. (23°C, 50% Relative humidity)

CONSUMPTION

3 to 5 m2/lt on single coat depending on the surface absorptance.

STORAGE

It must be kept in 5-35° C in its closed package without exposing sun.
