Water-based, acrylic emulsion-based and silicone-added, matt looking, top coat exterior paint.
PROPERTIES
The special silicone it contains ensures high water repellent and water vapour permeability and resistance to humidity and salty water on application surfaces. Special pigments which are resistant to colour fading are used for areas exposed to sunlight. It is dirt-resistant and enables the paint to remain as it is on its first day. It has good spreading performance and is very easy to apply. It is odourless and environment-friendly.
APPLICATION
It can be easily applied to concrete, plaster, rough rendering, exposedconcrete, gas concrete, briquette, drag mosaic, concrete panel, and surfaces with old paints after recommended basis forming and primer procedures. The application areas should be dry, clean and free from dust. Surfaces with old and blistered paints should be cleaned by scraping. Newly plastered surfaces should be kept for 4 weeks before application. Rough and loose surfaces as well as those containing hair cracks should be puttied up with "Düfa Acrylic Exterior Putty.” After the smoothening process, it is recommended to use " "Diamond Silicone Interior & Exterior Primer" or "Silosan Silicone White Primer" as one coat so as to reduce top coat paint consumption, enhance adhesion of paint on surface and in cases of colour change. For the purpose of avoiding drying problems, the application areas should be protected against rain and frost and no application should be performed on areas exposed to excessive wind or direct sunlight. Surfaces of buildings that are not exposed to sunlight should be preferred at temperatures over 35 °C and if application is to be carried out between 12 pm and 4 pm.
It is applied as two coats on surfaces on which “Diamond Silicone Exterior Paint" primer has been applied by roll or brush after diluting by 10% at maximum with water. Waiting time between coats is 5-6 hours (may vary according to ambient temperature). Application temperature should be between 5˚C and 35˚C .
DRYING TIME
Touch dry: 1-2 hours. Waiting between coats: 5-6 hours. Through-dry time: 24 hours.(23°C and 50% Humidity)
CONSUMPTION
Depending on absorbing capacity and type of the surface, an area of 9-11 m² is painted on single layer. Field sample work should be carried out for precise consumption.
